ChatGPT 2025 Updates: Everything You Should Know in Simple Words
OpenAI has launched two new AI models for its famous and best chatbot ChatGPT – o3 and o4-mini. The o3 model is the most advanced and intelligent model till date, which answers questions more thoughtfully. On the other hand, o4-mini is a bit lighter, but works faster and is also available at a cheaper price. In both these models, the user also gets features like web browsing, coding, generating photos. However, these models can sometimes give wrong information, which is called ‘hallucination’ in the language of AI.
OpenAI has also added a new and great feature called Flex Processing. With its help, users can use AI at slow speed but at a lower cost. This feature is especially for those tasks where speed is not so important – like checking data, testing, etc. Currently, it is available in beta version for o3 and o4-mini models.
OpenAI is now paying special attention to security as well. They have created a new system that monitors the answers of AI, so that it does not give any answer that can spread dangerous information like biological or chemical weapons. Its purpose is to ensure that no one is harmed by AI.
A new ‘Library’ section has also been added to ChatGPT, through which users can save and access photos, content or work created by AI in one place. This feature works on both mobile and web and has been brought to make the user experience easier.
Now talking about the users of ChatGPT, today more than 30 crore people are using it every week. ChatGPT also has a free version which anyone can use by just creating an account. At the same time, it also has a paid version called ChatGPT Plus, which has even smarter and faster AI models.
ChatGPT is no longer limited to just websites. It is also being added to other platforms like Windows 11 and the Solana network, allowing people to take advantage of it in different apps and software.
However, there are some concerns related to ChatGPT. Such as sometimes it can give wrong or misleading information, which can lead to legal or ethical problems. OpenAI is constantly working on this so that ChatGPT can be made more reliable and secure.
