Microsoft’s New Copilot Vision: AI Can Now See and Guide You Through Any App!
Microsoft has started testing a new and interesting update in its AI assistant Copilot. Now this Copilot will work not only in the browser, but with any app on your entire computer. The name of this new feature is Copilot Vision, which was previously used only in Microsoft Edge, but now it can be activated on any app or screen of your system.
With the help of this feature, you can share your screen or app with Copilot, so that the AI assistant can guide you in any work. For example, if you are running Adobe Photoshop, then Copilot Vision will help you understand and use its tools. Its demo was also shown at Microsoft’s 50th anniversary party, where Copilot helped in playing the Minecraft game and optimized the settings of the video editing app Clipchamp.
Although this feature is currently in testing only for US users, but soon it will be made available to more people. Currently, the feature of guiding by highlighting on the screen is not active in this beta version, but it will also be added in the coming time.
Copilot Vision sounds a bit like Microsoft’s old “Recall” feature, but in reality it is like you share your screen in a Microsoft Teams call – only it is not a Teams call, but sharing the screen with AI.
Along with this, Microsoft has also added a new option of file search in Copilot. Now you can ask AI what is written in a document or which file you recently worked on. It supports files of formats like .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .txt, .pdf, .json.
For all these new features, you do not need to get any new system – just have the Copilot app on Windows. Copilot Vision is now in testing on iOS and Android as well. Soon this update will be released for all Windows 11 users.
